ABSTRACT: This study examines strategies for integrating entrepreneurship into vocational curricula, aiming to equip students with essential business skills and entrepreneurial mindset for successful venture creation and management. Entrepreneurship education is crucial in vocational training to foster innovation, creativity, and economic self-sufficiency among students aspiring to start their own businesses or join entrepreneurial ventures. The objectives were to (1) analyze current approaches and challenges in integrating entrepreneurship education into vocational curricula, (2) evaluate the impact of entrepreneurship education on student readiness for business ventures, and (3) propose effective strategies for embedding entrepreneurship into vocational training programs. A survey research design was employed to collect data from vocational educators, business owners, and entrepreneurship trainers, examining their perspectives on curriculum design, teaching methodologies, and outcomes of entrepreneurship education. The sample size comprised 180 participants, selected through purposive sampling to include stakeholders from vocational schools and successful entrepreneurs across Nigeria. The case study focused on Oyo State, known for its vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem and proactive approach to vocational education reforms. Findings indicated that integrating entrepreneurship education enhanced students' business acumen, leadership skills, and readiness for market challenges. Effective strategies included experiential learning through business simulations, mentorship programs with local entrepreneurs, and interdisciplinary projects combining technical skills with business management principles. Recommendations included curriculum enhancements to include practical business modules, fostering industry partnerships for real-world learning experiences, and promoting entrepreneurship as a viable career pathway in vocational education settings.
